This newer building has a clever design with a private entry on either side & a spare room in the middle. Edna Bay has a church, post office, a small store, an excellent public dock, & if more children join the community, the school might be able to reopen. There are currently several homeschooling families that live there year round. It also has an active library with full internet and a new state-of-the-art bulk fuel facility. With independent 2nd class city status this is a great place for the independent minded! No property tax! Some business ideas for this property include renting to government agencies for longer term, short term summer vacation rentals, or even a charter fishing business; Edna Bay is in a wonderful fishing & hunting area! Apparently Edna Bay would also like a cafe or restaurant. In places like this, you can make it up as you go along, open a restaurant once a week for a community night or draw in vacationers in summer. There are lots of possibilities for the right person, and the right person for places like this are resourceful & independent thinkers.
